It just gets better...
...when you consider the life cycle of fuel from production to consumption. For every unit of energy input, biodiesel returns at least 3.2 units of energy. This is the highest energy balance ratio of any alternative fuel. If recycled oils are used - as we do at Standard Biodiesel - the energy balance ratio is even higher, because the basic resource has already been used at least once.
